《中国火炬统计年鉴 2022》是由科学技术部火炬高技术产业开发中心编撰的反映国家高新区、高新技术企业、科技企业孵化器、众创空间、特色产业基地、技术市场等相关内容的统计资料书。全书收录了全国各省、直辖市、自治区、计划单列市及副省级城市科技管理部门和各国家高新区 2021 年度的相关火炬统计资料。全书内容共分十一个部分。第一部分为国家高新技术产业开发区内企业的情况；第二部分为全国高新技术企业的情况；第三部分为科技企业孵化器的情况；第四部分为众创空间的情况；第五部分为国家大学科技园的发展情况；第六部分为火炬软件产业基地的发展情况；第七部分为火炬特色产业基地的发展情况；第八部分为创新型产业集群的发展情况；第九部分为全国技术市场发展情况；第十部分为国家技术转移机构发展情况；第十一部分为主要指标解释。

1988年，党中央、国务院正式批准实施旨在发展中国高新技术产业的指导性计划——火炬计划。作为火炬计划的具体组织实施单位（简称“火炬中心”）成立于1989年10月，是隶属于国家科学技术部的独立事业法人单位。在科学技术部指导下，火炬中心以“发展高科技，实现产业化”为己任，大胆探索，不断创新，推动了中国高新技术产业不断向前发展。
